Several studies have shown that natural environments can reduce stress levels, increase subjective well-being, improve health and cognitive abilities. These studies highlight the importance of preserving and increasing accessibility to the natural environment, put at risk by the growing urbanization. Since we spend most of our time indoors, introducing greenness into everyday interiors is a valid solution, as it emerges also from the analysis of case studies of buildings with different functions and located in different geographical contexts, beyond the Mediterranean area.

Abstract
Several studies have shown that natural environments can reduce stress levels, increase subjective well-being, improve health and cognitive abilities. These studies highlight the importance of preserving and increasing accessibility to the natural environment, put at risk by the growing urbanization. Since we spend most of our time indoors, introducing greenness into everyday interiors is a valid solution, as it emerges also from the analysis of case studies of buildings with different functions and located in different geographical contexts, beyond the Mediterranean area.File in questo prodotto:
