The attention to ‘real users’ needs is gaining importance in contemporary society. Ne¬vertheless, the current Italian regulations are not fostering a creative approach to comply the conditions that human beings can temporarily or permanently assume in their relationship with space, specifically considering the spatial design of temporary events. The aim of the re¬search and experimentation activities here presented is to show that artistic performance is an effective communication and awareness-raising strategy towards the above-mentioned issue. The performance was promoted within a research project called ‘Scivola’ aimed at forming a large network to guarantee a ‘broader potential’ for action and communication about the accessibility of spaces for temporary events.
