Abstract
About the analogue-digital design thinking. Are we watching and, maybe, cooperating to the creation of a "new world"? A world where everything will be ever more connected, where it will dialogue with itself and self-recognized itself independently of us. A world where it is expected that there will be 3,400 billion, of billions, of billions of interconnected webs address (now there are 4.3 billion). In this future, digital and real world will merge with each other. It will be an epochal transition, which has just begun, which is bringing us from an electric to an ubiqua society. This will be a society where "everything" will be computerised. that Industry 4.0 will redesign manufacturing processes, plants, factories, products, environments - but also business models and relationships - into new supply chain. This is a great opportunity for a highly manufacturing country, such as Italy, whose production heart is made up of small and medium-sized enterprises that mostly produce customized and technologically sophisticated products based on an agile and dynamic organizational system. the importance and originality of the maker phenomenon is in the fusion of design and production , making the process both physical (eg physical and manual knowledge of the materials by the craftsman) and virtual (eg knowledge of the physical and mechanical performance of the materials by the industrial designer), opening up the chance to experiment to professionals and amateurs, businesses and communities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
