This paper systematically examines the design strategies of three projects in the renovation and connection of waterfront space of Minsheng Wharf, including renovation and connection of the waterfront, Yanjinggang Bridge and Minsheng Ferry Station. Based on integrity and continuity of urban design, the renovation and connection of waterfront space of Minsheng Wharf aimed to activate separate spots along the shore and reinforce recreational experiences. The project revitalizes balance and sensibility necessary to maintain the urban environment, making it the waterfront space to serve people as the focus of the city on a daily basis.
