Abstract

After the comparative analysis of the different reconstructive hypotheses and the execution of the survey and measured drawings, 8 foundation beams and some wall portions are still visible, the research verified the geometry of the Roman amphitheatre of Milan by setting parameters and constraints: 4-center oval, ratio between width and length 5:4 and Pythagorean generator triangle. The objective is to test a generative graphic method of simulation in the archaeological field for further applications of virtual reality and immersive fruition.
