After the comparative analysis of the different reconstructive hypotheses and the execution of the survey and measured drawings, 8 foundation beams and some wall portions are still visible, the research verified the geometry of the Roman amphitheatre of Milan by setting parameters and constraints: 4-center oval, ratio between width and length 5:4 and Pythagorean generator triangle. The objective is to test a generative graphic method of simulation in the archaeological field for further applications of virtual reality and immersive fruition.

Abstract
After the comparative analysis of the different reconstructive hypotheses and the execution of the survey and measured drawings, 8 foundation beams and some wall portions are still visible, the research verified the geometry of the Roman amphitheatre of Milan by setting parameters and constraints: 4-center oval, ratio between width and length 5:4 and Pythagorean generator triangle. The objective is to test a generative graphic method of simulation in the archaeological field for further applications of virtual reality and immersive fruition.File in questo prodotto:
