Renewable energy is rapidly increasing and is gradually playing an essential part of the national electricity system, which contribute to a clean energy source in meeting the world energy consumption demand. In Vietnam, the Government showed interest in the renewable energy, especially in solar energy. Today, in QuangNgai province-Vietnam, PhoAn Solar Photovoltaic Project is the largest project with an installed power capacity of 150MWp and is scheduled to be connected to the national grid at the end of 2019. This article examines the impact of PhoAn solar power plant on the power flow and the stability of transition state when it penetrates the QuangNgai province grid-Viet Nam.
