The paper presents a new hybrid optimization method for solving large domain electromagnetic problems. The approach uses a strong co-operation of Genetic Algorithms and Particle Swarm Optimization. Some numerical results are shown analysing a mathematical problem, optimization of a sinc function and an electromagnetic one, optimization of a linear array of radiators.

Abstract
