This paper presents a context-aware architecture for Big Data Analytics proposed as an industrial solution in a real setting. In particular, the paper focuses on Big Data for Smart Cities and on Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and extraction of context information from Big Data of document type. It presents the Big Data architecture and discusses some experiments done as part of the Smart Cities Big Data project.
