Traditional reliability assessment and prognostics compute the reliability of an equipment based on the failure data from a large number of similar equipment (Ramirez-Marquez & Coit, 2005; Lin et al., 2015). For different equipment, the traditional methods assess somewhat average reliability and prognostic results for an individual (average) equipment, without taking into account physical models of degradation or the specific monitored data related to the degradation of the equipment.

Abstract
Traditional reliability assessment and prognostics compute the reliability of an equipment based on the failure data from a large number of similar equipment (Ramirez-Marquez & Coit, 2005; Lin et al., 2015). For different equipment, the traditional methods assess somewhat average reliability and prognostic results for an individual (average) equipment, without taking into account physical models of degradation or the specific monitored data related to the degradation of the equipment.File in questo prodotto:
