This article is intended as a first approach to the presentation of the JRC15 pantograph, developed as an innovative subsystem for regional and intercity rolling stock equipment, on medium and long distance routes (with 200 km/h maximum speed). The document describes the electro-mechanical devices that make up the pantograph, the command and control electronics and its integrated diagnostics harmonised with that of the on board of the rolling stock and rail operator's fleet.
