When we talk about lighting for the individual well-being, the attention often goes to the characteristics of the light sources. In this research we have focused on two elements that can contribute to the Human Centric Lighting: the circadian characteristics of light and the intelligent light management systems (LMS). In this article we introduce the basic principles that have been applied in the research, while the results will be presented in a later publication.
