Abstract
Noise pollution is one of the forms of pollution to which the environment is subjected and it is recognized as a cause of effects on human health. The increasingly widespread need for protection from this form of pollution and noise control within living environments must be answered through the designers’ expertise. The article proposes an in-depth analysis of the strategies of intervention and, in particular, of materials and building systems that, if known and fully understood, can be exploited and manipulated by the designer to create acoustic conditions in the indoor that respond to the various functions hosted from the building itself.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
