The Late Roman and Byzantine Empire contributed to the fusion, also along the military frontiers, of the different cultures, “romans” and “barbarians”, of the European regions. Due to this fact, the cultural heritage witnesses can give, nowadays, the instruments to enhance common safeguarding behaviour.
