Newly appeared 'super' aluminium alloys show promising possibilities in the reduction of the thermal dependence of Alters and diplexers. Reduced frequency variations, obtained by simulation, are presented and prove to be very interesting. The availability of these new materials for filters and diplexers prototype development allows an experimental check of computed results.
