The problem of nonlinear H∞filtering on the unit circle is considered, and a solution is provided, which respects a given upper bound on the energy gain from disturbances and initial conditions to the estimation error. The proposed filter is simulated for typical conditions and the results are compared with the Extended Kalman filter and the minimum energy filter.
