Synaesthesia in China 2016/2017

There is a long history of artistic synaesthesia in Chinese culture, but it lacks systematic and scientific research. Some Chinese scholars and artists realized this and began to investigate. By collaboration with Artecitta, Granada University and local Chinese universities and institutes, supported by ASA, UKSA and IASAS, they took the opportunity to set up project “1st Synaesthesia Art Exhibition and Forum in China” and several synaesthesia activities had been done across cities (Beijing, Xu Zhou, Hang Zhou and Xi’an). As result, this initiative will inspired China for its innovation in different area such as education with benefit.
