Proposal of the new use in Mondonico village as scattered hotel

Over recent decades, the Mondonico area has been neglected, both the village and the pathways, cut off from contemporary development of infrastructure and facilities, and the scarce maintenance and refurbishment have not followed any guideline or masterplan. In the following, the author presents the project proposals and explains an intervention method for adding new functions, respectful of the existing buildings, the tradition, the culture of the site while also applying sustainable criteria. This chapter is a description and general analysis of the meta-project methods, particularly in terms of the development of the architecture, structures and planning.
