The present invention relates to a process for the synthesis of a reducing gaseous mixture wherein at least one hydrocarbon is sent to a first step where said at least one hydrocarbon is made to react with carbon dioxide,The reaction between said at least one hydrocarbon and the carbon dioxide is carried out at a pressure from 0.5 atm to 100 atm and at a temperature from 800 °C to 1200 °C. The reducing gaseous mixture obtained according to this process is then used in the direct reduction of minerals like iron ores, in the methanol synthesis and/or the synthesis of derivatives thereof, preferably dimethyl ether, or in the Fisher-Tropsch processes.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for the synthesis of a reducing gaseous mixture wherein at least one hydrocarbon is sent to a first step where said at least one hydrocarbon is made to react with carbon dioxide,The reaction between said at least one hydrocarbon and the carbon dioxide is carried out at a pressure from 0.5 atm to 100 atm and at a temperature from 800 °C to 1200 °C. The reducing gaseous mixture obtained according to this process is then used in the direct reduction of minerals like iron ores, in the methanol synthesis and/or the synthesis of derivatives thereof, preferably dimethyl ether, or in the Fisher-Tropsch processes.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
