Leadership in green building. Ediz. italiana e inglese

Promoted in Italy since 2008, when the Green Building Council Italia – member of the World GBC Network – was founded, the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) environmental certi cation protocol achieved in a few years a relevant role in the building sector’s scenario. Leadership in Green Building, shows a selection of the most signi cant LEED certi ed buildings in Italy. Not a simple collection of buildings, but rather a journey in the Italian Architecture of the last decade, the Architecture that has brought sustainability from theory to practice in the built environment. Even though many of the buildings hereby described are well-known, their environmental features are often underestimated. That issues are at the core of the LEED certi cation protocols proposed in Italy and worldwide. In this volume, those values become the fundamental parameters to describe the quality of that architecture.
