We will basically deal with three issues. Firstly, when talking about visualization in relation to Design it seems clear that we are referring to the present era, while talking about projection mostly pushes our feeling back to the past, in spite of the fact that even the more advanced digital visualizations are projection-based, or better, they are projective visualizations. Secondarily, these projective visualizations are not only mere supports to show the design results but, mainly, they are irreplaceable thinking-and-operational tools for the design development. Third, given their semantic wideness, these visualizations work as very customized tools in the various branches of Design, be it Architectural, Engineering, Product Design, and so forth. Last, in order to connect the abovementioned issues we will also remark the combined power of Geometry, what we will friendly call The Ghost, and Graphics, what we will friendly call The Ghost-Buster, comparing the new role that this combination has been acquiring over times.

Projective Visualization. A Widespread Design Tool
