With several decades of delay, also the residential sector is slowly changing from a mass market to a selective market. There is no longer the phase where any real estate product is easy to place, in favour of an era where quality is a primary requirement (Ciaramella, Tronconi, 2011). For these reasons, the process of urban regeneration in general, and the social housing interventions in particular, must be implemented by proposing inno-vative projects, especially in terms of building technology.
