As part of DEMCOPEM-2MW FP7 EU Project, we developed a model of a large scale PEM system coupled with a chlor-alkali plant. Mass and energy balances are performed for the fuel cell and auxiliaries, in order to assess efficiency and streams’ conditions at partial load or changing operating parameters. Preliminary results are in agreement with data from reference plants and show the effectiveness of the model.

Abstract
