Thenewhostmatrixsystemisobtainedbycrosslinkingafunctionalchloro-trifluoro-ethylene- vinyl-ethercopolymerwithanaliphaticisocyanuratecrosslinker.Itisshownthatefficiency values comparable tothoseobtainedwithoptimizedPMMA-basedthin film LSCdevicescanbereachedwith the newcrosslinked fluoropolymer-basedLSCsystem.Inaddition,superiorlong-termoperational stability comparedtoPMMA-baseddevicescanbeobtainedwiththenew fluoropolymer-basedhost matrix, asevidencedbylong-termcontinuouslightexposuretests(over500h)onoperatingLSCdevices.
