Abstract

A strategic step through the optimization of the building process, and for the construction sector in general, is represented by the rationalization of the information flows connecting the stages (of conceiving, of construction, of managing and maintenance) and the different actors involved in the process (customers, users, designers, building contractors, component producers, etc.). Using the new standard UNI 11337 “Building and engineering works. Coding criteria of works, activities and resources. Identification, description and interoperability” and in order to the energy saving and the environmental sustainability, the InnovAnce research program, also funded by the Ministry of Economic Development through the Energy Announcement of Industry 2015, suggests to prearrange an innovative system plan making the first interoperability database and placing the sector in network. Partners as ENEA, CNR, ANCE, SAP, Autodesk and other more, under the scientific guidance of Politecnico of Milan, develop the prototype of a new access structure, management and exchange of technical and economical standardized information in the building sector, for a more profitable organization of the flows and the transfer time of the technical-scientific know-how as start condition to assure the complete efficacy and efficiency of the building product and the sustainability of the anthropomorphic environment.
