B.A.M.B.A. is a new software for GPS data processing. It works following a multibase approach to process observations collected in static mode. The structure of the program is modular, basically constituted by three parts devoted to perform the following operations: preprocessing, first processing, final processing. The software is written in standard FORTRAN77 both for VAX an PC platforms. It requires, as basic input, GPS data in RINEX v.2 format, i.e. ASCII files generated by the standard public domain Bernese software. The strategy of solution works via classical double difference approach, however it is important to underline that there are some innovative modules applied to preprocessing, to cycle-slip detect and repair technique and to the solution of initial phase ambiguity problem. By now only the preprocessing module is working and it has been partially tested; the implementation of the first processing step module is in progress, while theoretical background supporting the last module of the program has been completely analyzed and successfully applied to the solution of a small simulated example.

Abstract

B.A.M.B.A. is a new software for GPS data processing.
