The present invention refers to an apparatus for producing metal sheet by electrolytic means. In one of its embodiments the apparatus for producing metal sheets by electrolytic means comprises: at least one anode ; at least one cathode having a surface on which the metal will be deposited so as to form said metal sheets ; an electrolytic bath in which said anode and said cathode are placed; electric supply means for said cathode; continuous removal means for said metal sheets ; activation means suitable for starting the movement of said surface; characterized in that said surface consists of a band of continuous conductive deformable sheet ; said activation means of said moving surface comprise said metal sheets.
