Abstract

Interior design can play a significant role in understanding the complexity of contemporary society and dealing with the revolution of working and human relationships. Giving value not only to a functional, but also to an experiential use of spaces and mobility, can contribute to take significant inspiration from the memory layered in complex historical spaces. Through a cross-fertilization process with other disciplines, like architectural restoration and psychology, individual and community well-being could be pursued and its harmonization with "happiness" may be implemented.
