Abstract

The aim of this work is to propose an algorithm optimizing route distance for Electric Vehicles (EVs). The algorithm uses an a-priori decision policy before the start of the trip. Different situations are considered. The algorithm is applied to the city of Milan as a case study. Twenty charging stations currently being located in the city are here considered. The simulation model is agent-based and implemented in Anylogic software.
